We meet Dad at this station. Okay? It’s scary. What’s scary? That thing. – It’s scary. / – We can go together. (What did Daeul see?) What’s wrong? The ticket gates appeared before Daeul. (On their last lone subway trip) (Shutting) (Daeul was trapped inside a ticket gate.) Daeul was flustered to be stuck inside a ticket gate. He must have remembered what happened then. It’s scary. What will Soeul do? Come quickly. (She sends Daeul through first.) (Running) I will follow you. (Soeul passed through the gate as well.) It’s not scary. (Three-year-olds can ride the subway for free.) It’s not scary, is it? It’s not a problem if you go first. (They reached the platform.) (What is that?) (“A Crack” by Hwang Mikwang) “Water flows to every crack” “in the world.” “Between cracks,” “another day approaches.” I’m sure it’s a good poem. (Soeul gives safety instructions.) Daeul, watch your feet. Go in after people come out. Go in after people come out. Watch your feet. (Go in after people come out.) Where should we go? Let’s stand. Hold this tightly. There is a seat. (An elderly man yields his seat.) Thank you, but… Daeul, the elderly must sit here. Let’s go. (Soeul moves to non-priority seats.) Let’s sit over here. (They are smart children.) (The subway runs.) We are getting off here. (They arrive at Yaksu Station.) Let’s get off. Let’s get off. Watch your feet. We got off. Are we going to Dad? Of course, we are. Where else would we go? Where else would we go? (Laughing) Come here. It’s dangerous. You should be on this side. Walk on that side. Let’s go. (She takes the outer side.) It’s dangerous. “Transfer”. Look at that face. (Face?) What is that? (It’s a Hahoe mask.) (Soeul copies the facial expression.) (She is the living Hahoe mask.) Are we getting on the train again? We need to get on this train. – It’s another train. / – Wait a minute. Daeul, do you know what this sign is? (She quizzes Daeul on signs.) Do you know? Tell me. Telephone. (Surprised) You got it right. When a bad man appears, you say, “There is a bad man.” “Please call the police.” Do you know what this sign is? Fire extinguisher. It puts out fire. (Even his explanation is perfect.) You got it right. In that case, what is this sign? Don’t touch. (He answered correctly three times in a row.) What about this? (Will he get it right?) Don’t get on the subway. It means, “Don’t lean.” You might fall through the crack when the door opens. Don’t do that. (Running) (They move to safety.) This one means aunts with babies in their bellies can sit here. You can sit here since it’s dangerous to stand. It’s okay. No. (Don’t underestimate Little Man.) It says, “Little Man can sit here.” (Really?) I am serious. Sit down. No, no. I don’t want to. (What?) Don’t lean. Don’t lean. Don’t lean. What? Don’t lean. (I will protect Soeul.) Wait, I am wrong. – Women visit the urology clinic, too. Right? / – Yes. Why did you come to this clinic? I came here to check the state of my health. A test is a must before having a third child. Around this time last year, my father had a big surgery for prostatic hypertrophy. I had a DNA test on “Vitamin” to look for my weak areas. (Hwijae had a DNA test on “Vitamin”.) I’m at risk for prostate disease and Alzheimer’s. I am doing everything to prevent them. Seoeon and Seojun, do you want a sibling like Sian or Rohee? I want a sibling like Sian. How can I help you? I am here to check if I am healthy and without complications. Do you plan to have more children? I frankly want a daughter. I’m sure there won’t be any problems, but a semen analysis will give us a more subjective result. (The unavoidable has come.) As men grow older, they can show symptoms of andropause or male menopause. – I did a self-diagnosis questionnaires. / – I see. I cry more. I think I might have male menopause. Dad, are you done? There is a store downstairs that sells delicious milk and bread. Do you want to eat them? – I want to eat them. / – You do, right? Come back after eating milk and bread, okay? I will come out after an examination and a shot, okay? – Dad. / – Yes? Will you get a shot on your buttocks? Yes, I will. Okay? Here’s the first step to having a third child. Know yourself and your enemy to win. Various examinations are carried out to aid the middle-aged dad’s challenge. The last examination remains. Don’t you dare follow me. (Don’t you dare follow me, camera.) (Good luck, Hwijae.) Meanwhile, the twins came to the convenience store. What should I get? Seoeon, look at this one. Look at this one. Banana-flavored snack. – Where? / – Banana-flavored snack. Spaghetti. (They have spaghetti at the convenience store.) Look. Do you want a red one or a yellow one? Maybe the red one is spicy. It’s not spicy. It’s tomato sauce. (Shall we eat these?) Is it really spaghetti? Yes, it is. – Please ring up these items. / – Okay. Where is your dad? Where is your dad? He is at a urology clinic. – What? / – He is at a urology clinic. Where? He is at a urology clinic. Why did he go to the clinic? We are having a sibling. – Do you want another sibling? / – Yes. You are greedy. (The twins take a seat at the corner.) (Rustling) Here. The chocolate milk is mine. Spaghetti. (Let’s see.) How do I eat this? – Would you like me to make it? / – Please. (He gets help from the owner.) Have you had this before? – No. / – No? It will be really tasty when I make it. Are you a cook? Am I a cook? I am better than a cook. It looks delicious. – Does it look delicious? / – Yes. I am a talented cook. – Is it hot? / – Yes, it’s hot. Take a small bite at a time, okay? (They wait a little bit.) (Eating) (Have a taste.) Try it. (Seoeon takes a bite.) It’s tasty. (The taste of Italy fills his mouth.) I bought this. I bought this. Aren’t you glad I bought it? You chose well. Is it tastier than the one Dad made? Yes. (They take turns eating.) (He rubs food on his face.) (The twins are good brothers.) (Chew it well.) (Bottoms up.) My mouth is dirty. Who wants to wipe my mouth? I will do it. (They clean themselves up.) (He rubs the tissue paper with force.) Did Dad get his shot? I wonder if he cried. Did he cry? – Were the examinations okay? / – Yes. – Did you find anything uncomfortable? / – No. The test results are in. You took three tests. They were hormone test, prostate test and semen analysis. Your male hormone level is in the normal range. The normal range is from 2.5 to 8.3. Your hormone level is 4.3. (It’s lower than he expected.) There is a hormone called prolactin. It’s one of the hormones that would rise when a woman is pregnant. Your prolactin level is higher than the average. Does that mean I am a woman? No, that’s not what it means. Men can have prolactin, but your level is a bit higher than the average. It could be the result of extreme stress. The male hormone level came as a shock. – Your father had prostatic hypertrophy. / – Yes. Your prostate is perfectly normal in size. We go over four parameters for semen analysis. The first one is semen volume. The second one is sperm motility. The third one is sperm concentration. The fourth one measures the percentage of sperm that looks normal. Simply speaking, the results are a little less than average on two parameters. (He has problems with two parameters.) Firstly, the sperm volume is a bit small. The second problem is connected to sperm motility. (Shocked) – Really? / – Yes. – I will show you a video clip. / – What? (You’ll show me a video clip?) It looks like the sperm count is low. There aren’t many of them. The value of motility should be over 40 percent. It looks like yours has a value of less than 20 percent. It used to be 60 percent. – It used to be 60 percent. / – Yes. What happened in the past five years? Children happened. He put children before him for the past four years. (Hwijae’s struggles began four years ago.) (As the twins grew,) (he started losing hair.) (Dozing off) Perhaps it was the weight of fatherhood. Let’s put this here. (He didn’t hesitate to dress up for his sons.) (Crying) (It wasn’t always successful.) (Hwijae grew older with his children.) (He became haggard.) It looks like I should have another child soon. Daughters would be cute and pretty. Please take good care of your body and I wish you succeed in having a pretty daughter. Thank you. What do you think? (That night, at the twins’ place) You know what sperm motility is, right? The sperm motility… What about it? The value… (Hwijae is hesitant.) It used to be 60 percent. Now, it’s 20 percent. My hormone level is too low, too. What do we do? Anyway… You struggled with work and taking care of the twins. Since the results are bad, you should take care of your health. I will. – Try to relax. / – Okay. – Okay? / – Okay. I will quit drinking in 2017. – I will help. / – Okay. Meanwhile, Seungjae is taking a walk with his dad. Bye, Uncle. (Smiling) Seungjae, what flavor candy do you want? Strawberry. Strawberry. (Daeul ended up crying.) Dad. (Determined to meet Daddy,) (Daeul protected Soeul) (and came all the way here.) (But where is Daddy?) (Bumsoo removes the mask.) Come here. Why did you cry, Daeul? (Bumsoo feels sad seeing Daeul cry.) (Daeul and Bumsoo’s reunion is touching.) Were you scared? Gosh, what were you scared of? You cried, too? I was just playing a prank. The ticket inspector is a really good man. I dressed up to play a prank on you two. (You are my dad, right?) Dad, I brought your hat. You brought my hat? Give it to me. Here, a woolen hat. Soeul and Daeul, bring my hat from home. I’ll see what I can do. All right. Which hat should we get for Dad? This one? They didn’t forget to buy their dad’s hat in the metro. (We bought Daddy’s hat.) Bumsoo, you must be really proud of them. (He puts on the knitted hat.) – How do I look? / – Good. (Giggling) Dad, sit. (They’re eating sweet marshmallows.) Here. (Daeul is eating a sausage.) What is this? Is it popcorn? One, two, three. (Popping) (Surprised) – Don’t do that. / – Okay. Look. I’m going to open it. One, two… (Squinting) Look. This isn’t popped rice. Ta-da. (Popcorn is ready.) (Daeul takes a bite.) – After I eat this. / – Okay. I’ll help you. Hold on. (There is another event.) They’re sending up a lantern with their wishes. (The lantern is carrying their wishes.) Look at the lantern, guys. – I’m going to be seven. / – Wow. Please help our family live happily. Also, please help my mom be healthy. (Please help us be healthy and happy.) I like it. Next week, Donggook’s family is out to see the sunrise. (They’re out to see the first sunrise of 2017.) (Another pair of twins are visiting the twins?) Who are these mysterious men visiting the twins? Seoeon, guess who is older. (Who are these mysterious men?) Fairies are visiting Rohee. (Rohee gets special visitors.) (It’s the finale of “Who Sings Best?”) The dads are always there by the children’s side. (Will Soeul do well?) Cheerful Seungjae continues to show his charms. – Let’s shake hands. / – Is that excavator yours? – Try it. / – Dad is the best. Next week, episode 164 of The Return of Superman, “You Can’t Have a Rainbow Without Rain”.

  1. Seungjae is so adorable, funny, cute, smart, caring, cheerful, loving and entertaining. God bless you.

  2. It kills me that Kangjun told them that the lobster was their friend and as soon as they said they wanted to feed it, he broke the news that their friend was their meal. 10 dollars says Sua is okay with it completely LMAO

  3. 1:15:43 Sua expresses everything I would feel being in there. I don't mess with birds 🙅🏾

  4. Soeul acts so mature all the time that I forget she's only seven. When she cries, it always reminds me she's a baby. I love it!

  5. I wish I was one of the twins,Jae A and Jae Si because they are fed by handsome oppas hahahahah

  6. am i the only one tht realizes that korean kids carry their bags everywhere, why is tht?

  7. three bears song make me miss song triplets more… aaaaahhhhh daehan minguk manse make an appearance with appa ilkook….

  8. Cant take my eyes to the adorable Seungjae and Handsome Jiyong. Perfect Father and Son. 😍

  9. I think out of all the kids on Superman Returns, it is Ko Seungjae and Song Daehan who are the most intelligent. I am always impressed with Seungjae's wit and vocabulary at such a young age! Not to mention his high emotional quotient (EQ) which is very obvious with how he reaches out to others especially the animals. Seungjae is the most balanced in terms of IQ and EQ, and with the consistent guidance from his mum and dad, he surely will grow up to be a highly sensible man. A very huge and great addition to Korean society indeed. There is this episode where his dad sends Seungjae off to an errand, and in order for Seungjae to remember the name of the commodity he was to buy, his dad makes him repeat the word which was new to him. That is actually the right way to teach kids and the fastest way to make them absorb information especially with linguistics. Now, as we are all asians (hahaha partially kidding), let's apply that way of teaching into maths and sciences. I strangely find myself having a strong affinity towards Seungjae. I love all kids by the way (as I am a big kid myself haha).

  10. If SeungJae saw the lobster he would be excited but when he sees that it would be cooked he will start to cry😂😂😂.

  11. Soeul is so cute when she ate all the salmon suhi, her haircut really suits her.

  12. Seungjae is such a clickbait. Forget idols we just need some Seungjae to charm us. Oh this ball of fluff!

  13. I LOVE SEUNGJAE AHHHH HE IS SO ADORABLEEEE I'M ALREADY STANNING HIM! HE WILL BE LIKE HIS DAD WHEN HE GREW UP AHHH HE IS SO CUTEEEEE

  14. I just realized, the twins' 엄마 plans to have a child at the end of this year, but we probably won't get to see it since they left the show .. ( if they even have the baby lol )

  15. I've been through a lot of emotional changes while watching this show. Loved a lot of the first generation appas and with the second generation appas too. When i first stumbled upon MUDO, the very first episode i watched there is the Guerilla Concert, and it happens to be Sech Skies. After discovering their music and visuals, i got so hooked up.

Watched their guestings (latest ones// old shows with subs are hard to find) — i got so interested at Ji Yong-ssi when the members talked about him. I'm so excited to know that he's the new super appa! <3

  16. 1:28:24 Scarlet Heart Ryeo OST is playing in the background TT Thinking about the drama is always makes me so sad…..

  17. They should have cooked the lobster while it's still alive. Lobster could release their ammonia 12 minutes after they were killed

  18. Are the twins leaving and I wish daebak/sian will get along with seungjae

  19. I want Sechskies to take care of Seungjae!😂I can't wait to see how Jiwon and Jaejin will play with him😂😂😂

  20. I want to have a baby as adorable as Ko Seungjae… Saranghae aga seungjae! 😍😍😍😍😍👼👦

  21. I think seungjae's mom should tell his son like is not ok to say he doesn't like his dad instead of repeating it and make it seem like is ok I don't think jiyong feels ok with the fact that his son says out loud he doesn't like him and his wife seems ok with that

  22. i see seungjae and i click i miss seungjae everyday alway find new video of seungjae to watch every night before sleep hehe

  23. I love when twins playing rock, paper, scissors,, kiyowooo 😍😍😍… Love seungjae too😍😍😍

  26. Seungjaeee issss realllyy cuteeeee and soooo smartttt kidd… I love him and Sian 💓💓

  27. I'm aware that I ask question that might be not good for under 18. I am wondering if Lee Hwijae really having sex with his wife? I mean why Hwijae always feel uneasy if they want another child (I know take care of children not easy but that's not what I talk about, I talk about why Hwijae should go to see doctor to discuss his health or how his fertility) I don't know how most couple produce children? Through IVF or put s**rm with injection without having sex? I'm sorry I offended you. Because I think most couple produce children without having sex, they use something like technology or whatever that not necessary having sex (that's my guess).

  28. I should raise kids in korea maybe I see my bias playing with his kids in playground 😅😅😅

  29. Can anyone tell me the song that was sung by the twins and friends while waiting for the meal? At minute 14:20.

  30. Looking back, it's quite cute that at the start of this episode , there's a lobster. Then it's Sungjae's first ep. Omo, he would cry for it. Mwehehhee.

2 years had gone by, he's growing up so well ㅠㅠ
I love him, he brings sunshine in my life. He's surprising and amusing. He makes me laugh and cry.

  31. the older boy with his sister is the real mvp playing with seungjae like that. He and his sister let him play with their car in another ep. Wish we see more of them.

  32. Watching this in 2019🤭😂 I dropped this show since Song Triplets left, but then I grew interest with this cutie pie named Seungjae because he's so smart for his age, plus his eomma is so pretty🤭

Me!! Awwww I miss him his so cute in 23:41

  41. I can already imagine the highschool life of the twins and their friend. Theyll be like the trouble maker and that young girl will always be annoyed at them and then one of the twins will like her. HAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHAHA wild imagination right?

  42. I wish I have a son like daebak. He doesn't do anything but still can bring smile to people around him.

  43. They know how to attrack the viewers HAHAHAH picture of seungjae as a thumbnail ❤️😋

  46. My Seungjae baby!! I am watching again all his eps!! Miss u so much
His cuteness and curious nature wins everyone's heart!!
    Stay well my soju baby~~💕💕😘😘😘😘😘😍😘😍😘

  47. Hwi-jae and Jeong-won are such a cute couple and the twins are adorable. The parents spoke here of having a third child and to try for Jeong-won to be pregnant "by the end of next year". Since the episode was most likely filmed in December 2016, that means by the end of 2017. It's now the end of 2019. I wonder if they decided to wait longer, if they decided not to try for a third baby after all, or if they've been unable to conceive. It's none of my business of course, I just hope whatever the reason they're feeling okay about it. They're such a close, sweet (and funny!) family. <3

Seung-jae is adorable! It's amazing how he was 26 months old here and so aware of everything. His language is so advanced and his social skills and empathy are really strong. He just needs to learn some social boundaries, haha! But he's only 2 years old after all (well, he was at this time). He's a little cutie for sure!
I don't know of his dad as an entertainer, but it's really great that he's on as an "ex-idol" and current businessman and not a current singer/performer/entertainer, just to get another side of things. When he spoke about how he's a low priority for his son and how much he's missed, that made me feel so sad for him. I'm glad he got the chance through this show to spend more one-on-one time with Seung-jae so they could connect as father and son! 🙂

Soeul is amazing. I'm always so impressed by her. Five years old and she takes her little brother on the subway and looks after him beautifully. She even switched places to make sure he wasn't close to the tracks. Soeul, Jaesi and Jaea are all such great big sisters. Superkids! Daeul too though, when he noticed that Soeul was leaning towards the doors. Too cute! I felt so bad for them when they started crying though. Aww! <3

Daebak is so cute. I love that he calls himself "Bbakie"/"Bbagie". He's so chill. Imagine falling asleep in the car and waking up surrounded by screeching birds and a spoon shoved in your hand. He just accepted the situation and fed the birds xD So cute. He was really brave walking past the chickens. Daebak was truly daebak, haha! Seola, Sua and Daebak feeding each other was adorable <3
